A cry for a hero

Everyone needs a hero
and I’m not talking about the
the suicidal onesie with delusions of grandeur
or the spandex that could only endure
I’m not talking about the ones with flashy super powers
or the ones with mad intellect and riches
that could afford expensive towers
I’m talking about the ones who have
been with you from ground zero
the ones who got your back during your
highs and lows that’s your hero
you need a hero?
look in the mirror, there go your hero

1999

sounds familiar, right?
that’s the year of democracy
more like the beginning of hypocrisy
of the people, by the people, for the people
but it feels like of some people, by some people, for some people
old man Abe will turning in his grave
not more than the turning stomachs of the masses tho
our lives are controlled by a selfish man’s Ego
life’s way harder, prices keep going higher and masses going madder
are we going to keep living this life?
waking up everyday thinking of how to survive?
with this endless daily strife?
are we going to keep believing we are living in a country of democracy?
with all this aristocracy?
where the rich gain more power
and the poor can’t even shower?
all this injustice in the end is called a sweet name “democracy”

D.E.A.T.H

a word which people fear
always whispering to our ears
what if Death isn’t the enemy
but life is
what if Death is trying to save us but we
are too brainwashed by the lies life tell us
making us wonder the face of the earth
looking for the meaning of peace
while using us until we cease
unlike life death doesn’t just dump us
but keeps us for eternity
